Job Description :
-Act as deputy to the Team Leader and will have some team leading responsibilities.
-Maintain production environments relating to the online services.
-Maintaining high availability databases in support of 24*7 services.
-Establishing and monitoring backup schedules.
-Tuning database configuration for optimum performance.
-Installing/Patching Oracle software to agreed standards.
-Diagnose and resolve problems relating to database service availability.
-Database and SQL performance tuning.
-Monitoring and maintaining quality assurance by checking the consistency, continuity and coherence of supported services.
-Participate in the on-call support to the 24/7 team.
-Managing and monitoring Oracle advanced replication
-Assisting and supporting development teams with effective schema design, writing SQL and PL/SQL, deploying applications and problem solving.

*Requirements & Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
-Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
-Good experience in Oracle Database Administration (9i/10g) and OCP are an advantage.
-Extensive experience in planning, installing, Patching, configuring, and administering multiple Large Oracle databases in a Windows2003.
-Good experience in Backup and Recovery.
-Good knowledge in Oracle Advanced Replication.
-Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL.
-Experience in Advanced SQL optimization and Database Tuning.
-Proficiency in Database design.
-Good technical skills in Windows
-Experience of Team Leadership, excellent problem solving and customer support skills are an advantage.
-Good communication and interpersonal skills.
