Description
Independently monitor and observe ongoing rig operations on a daily basis with a focus on conformance to the drilling contractor and policies and procedures and generally accepted industry best practices. Plan and facilitate weekly HSE meetings. Communicate all safety alerts to all crew members. Facilitate the Job Safety Analysis (JSA) process. Ensure all incidents are reported correctly and in a timely manner. Participate in incident investigation. Follow-up all high potential unsafe acts and conditions. Participate in all pre-job planning activities for high exposure potential operations. Mitigate hazardous conditions observed onboard as required. Perform rig HSE audits and inspections and report trends to rig and division management.
